What does it take to sell credit card processing?

We get a lot of applications from independent sales reps who want to sell merchant services for us.  The one question these people always ask is:  ”what exactly will I be doing?”  The answer:  Saving business owners money on the monthly bill that they pay to Visa and Mastercard.

Whenever a business swipes a credit card as a payment for one of their products they must pay a percentage of that sale to Visa or Mastercard.  This fee typically runs anywhere from 1-3% depending on the card type.  Capital Bankcard has the ability to save anywhere from 10-50% off of the monthly fees that these merchants pay to process these credit cards.

Your job as a merchant account sales representative requires you to approach these businesses and get a copy of their monthly credit card processing bill.  You will then fax it directly to us so we can put together a cost comparison.  If we can save the business money ( which we can 95% of the time) then we will email the comparison back to you to present to the client.  Then all you have to do is sign them up to work with us.
